Tronox Halts Operations at Cataby Mine and SR2 Synthetic Rutile Production

Tronox Resources announced today that it will suspend operations at the Cataby mine and the SR2 synthetic rutile kiln starting December 1. As a major global supplier of titanium feedstock, particularly for chloride-process titanium dioxide, this production cut provides strong support for titanium ore prices on the raw material side.
